April 8th---2 events/one day

April 8^th was two very important events rolled into one for us this year. April 8^th we celebrated Easter and Caiden’s 4^th birthday. I took this picture of the guys all dressed up for Easter Service. I think they look so handsome.

We attended the Carrollton Recreation Department’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Our nephew Montavious , or as we like to call him (Ta Ta) and our neighbor Gabby joined us on our Egg Hunt Adventure. Ricky spent the night with a friend so he missed out on the egg hunt. Caiden, Ta Ta, and Gabby found so many eggs. We also met the Easter Bunny. We did not find a prize egg but the kids really enjoyed the hunt.

I can’t believe that 4 years ago @ 1:55AM we welcomed Caiden into the world. He has grown up so fast and really acts like he is older than 4. We went to early service on Easter and then we celebrated Caiden’s birthday with a birthday lunch. Our tradition for the last several years has been “If it’s your birthday, you get to choose where we eat.” Caiden’s choice was Cracker Barrel or as he likes to call it “Taco Barrel.” Don’t know why his cracker sounds like Taco. We had a great lunch and Caiden received a free ice cream sundae since he was the “Birthday Boy.”
