I know I am a bit late on this. I actually put up some fall decorations at the beginning of September but when I say the month has flown by and I have been crazy busy, I REALLY mean it. Every time Saturday rolls around I always have a to do list and I only end up getting maybe 2 things done or at least started. There is never enough time in the day. Ok I have ranted enough.
If, you want to decorate your home for a holiday, a season, or just something different; then you should checkout DOLLAR TREE. Yes I said DOLLAR TREE. Thanks to my BFF Pinterest and all the wonderful bloggers of the world who post their unbelievable creations, I have been able to find inspiration and create things for my home. I created a centerpiece for our dining room table and the side table next to the front door. I also found this wonderful tutorial on http://tatertotsandjello.com/2011/10/make-a-4-halloween-t-shirt-wreath-dollar-store-tutorial.html that shows step by step how to create a t-shirt wreath. I bought 2 rubber spiders for a $1.00 for both at dollar tree and painted them silver then used a toothpick and some red paint to give them red dots all over. The spiders had a twist tie on them so I just twisted that around the wreath to hold them on. I also found these cute signs for $1.00 each at (you guessed it) Dollar Tree. Now our front porch is decorated for the season. I am working on my mantle so hopefully I can post pics of that this weekend but you all know how that goes.
