Have you ever bought a car thinking it was what you really
wanted only to keep it for about a year and realize it’s not? This is exactly
what happened to me. I had a van a couple years back and I hated it. Something
about a van screams “Soccer Mom” and I want to be known as a mom but I also
want to be known as Latasha. I wanted a car that was good for the kids but also
something sporty and nice looking for me. I settled on a 2007 Ford Edge. It was
fully loaded with navigation (thank goodness…we get lost a lot J) and a flip down TV
with DVD system. Caiden loved the DVD system and I started to hate it. I never
could listen to the radio when Caiden was in the car. Anyway, if you haven’t
noticed from all of my other posts we always have a house full or should I say
a car full of kids with us when we go places. The Ford Edge was no longer
feasible for us. Now many of you may say (like many have already said to me)
why don’t you just leave the other kids at home and not worry about them. My
answer is I never want to turn kids away. When kids are comfortable being at
your home and love being with your family how can you turn them away? You never
know when you may be ministering to that child. I want to be there for children
like so many were there for me. So without further ado…….Here’s Mom’s New
Ride…….
The Ford Explorer…. It is wonderful. It is fully loaded
except no TV yet. We plan on getting that later but for now Caiden will have to
be entertained by the Nintendo DS. I really love this car. It seats 7, has the
rear back up camera so I don’t back into Rick’s truck anymore (sorry honey),
navigation, Bluetooth for my phone, and so much more. I am very happy with this
car and I don’t think I will be changing again or at least I hope I don’t…. J
