It is unreal to believe that this is Ricky’s last play at Whitesburg Elementary. It seems like only yesterday I was signing him up for Pre-K. Ricky is growing up so much each day. If you don’t already know Ricky is our musical child. He loves everything related to music. I don’t care where we are he will bust a move no matter who is standing around. I’m pretty sure he has done a couple Michael Jackson moves and the worm at CHURCH!!!! Anyhoo….He was excited about the play because he gets to go to the costume (his favorite place ever) and try on everything he can find. The play this year was on 2 days. I didn’t know until the last minute that it was going to be on Monday and Tuesday (which messed up the rest of my day, but you can’t fuss about it. You just smile and carry on.) Whitesburg is getting a new principal and he could not make it on the Tuesday evening showing so the teachers decided having 2 plays would be better. Ricky did not have a big part in the play but he still loved every minute of it and he even directed one of the songs for the whole group which made him as well as us proud…..WAY TO GO RICKY!!!!
